I'm alive!!!!!

Yeah, long time no see of everyone. I do hope everyone is doing well.

I'm still alive, just hiding in the shadows like I did before fandoms hit me. I'm still reading everyone's LJ entries, reading wonderful stories galore, drooling over art and exploring new territories and having fun.

We had a whirlwind vacation out to D.C., Gettysburg, Battleship Cove, Niagra Falls and a hurry up and get out of Manhatten.

The Vault will be no more shortly, if not already. I've lost the desire to keep a site up and running after 7 or so years. I'm sorry for all the writers, artists and fans for pulling it down. But it's hard running a 'free' site with no help and ambition. I appologize once again.

I decided I didn't have enough excitement in my life, and had my hubby poke me in the eye at 4:30am on Sunday morning while we were both sleeping. I wussed out and finally went to the ER at noon to find out I had taken two nice chunks out of my left cornea. Now I look like a retarded pirate and can't see worth a crap. I wonder if Captain Jack needs a rum drinking sidekick?

Yup, I'm still alive, lurking around as always. I haven't fallen out of fandom, I'm still reading and enjoying everyones posts!

Miss Bella is missing. Yes, there is a snake loose in my house. We can't find her anywhere. *cries*
Mr. Fat Cat, aka Romeo we discovered has no teeth besides his canines. Who knows how long this has been...

Still have tons of appts for my daughter to go through...damn her and ice skating!

Yes, I seem to be alive.

Friday my daughter's class took a field trip to go ice skating. *sighs* It didn't turn out very well. She's not Michelle Kwan, slammed her face into the ice after a spin and knocked her two top front teeth out. We spent 5+ hours at an endodontis getting her two teeth put back in. *shakes head* Both teeth are just in for looks, they both had root canals done on them, she has some other wiggly teeth that need to be braced up, and she can't eat much in fear of breaking the teeth out again before we can get some temp work done.

Their home from school today since we had some lovely snow and winds. There is no getting out of the garage for me.

Yup, just a wonderful birthday for me. I think I might go and hide.

I know I should have posted this 8 days ago, but life doesn't always want me to do what I want. Does anyone still read this at all? *shrugs*

Due to the total lack of interest and entries Summer Lovin' Contest is canceled, I'm sorry to anyone that entered or nominated anyone for the contest.

With many regrets there will be no Yaoiful Yuletide either.

Miss Bella got a new home today!



It's a 65 gallon corner fishy tank we got at an auction this afternoon. Friend of the family was getting rid of everything, and I walked away with that baby for $75! Tomorrow will be spent cleaning it all up to get ready for my prissy little snake.

The Vault's Summer Lovin' Contest deadline has been extended until Oct. 31st, 2007!

I took Miss Bella out earlier after I turned her light off and had no problem with her. I took her out a little while ago for our usual nightly handling time and she was fine and then all of a sudden struck out, latched on to my index finger and started to coil.

I flipped out and so did the hubby because she wouldn't let go at all, and I was starting to lose feeling in the tip of my finger. Lucky for me, she finally stopped biting and hubby helped pry her off of my finger. We gave her another pinkie mouse, one that was a lot larger than the one from last night and she struck out and coiled it right away. I guess she's making up for not eating for 6 weeks!

Gawds, I'm going to have to do some research on breaking her of biting and coiling me!

Miss Bella is a cranky snake! She bit me once when I was changing the water out in her tank after I turned out her heating lamp....then just 45 minutes ago she took another nip at me and drew blood. I threw a pinkie mouse in and had the hubby tease her with it. Lets just say she's now full and not too grumpy.

The house is turning into a pet menagerie from hell!

The daughter adopted a small chocolate/black tabby kitten that is now named Lily. *rolls eyes* So we have two cats, one moose...errr dog and the boa. Hellcat will be here in a few months for the winter as well.

*runs screaming from the house*

Ugh, the weather is playing with my internet connection. It died last night for two or three hours and doing the same this afternoon. *cries* It's tough when I'm stuck gimping around!

Only thing new to report is that Bella finally ate after 6 weeks! I'll be throwing a party for that tonight, lol. I thought for sure that she was starving herself to death.

Seems I've torn some tendons in my right ankle.

Yup...it's been awhile since I've gone M.I.A. for almost a month.

I've been married 15 years today. (It's past midnight right?) Hubby came home with 18 yellow roses and a red potted tea rose for my desk. Very pretty...I think he's making up for disappearing on Monday for over 4 hours to go shooting.

I've been canning pickles like crazy the last week or so. 10 pints of bread & butter pickles and 11 quarts of dills. I still have atleast 8 or more quarts of dills to make tomorrow.

I've been lagging behind on site updates. If you have anything that needs to go up, please point me in the direction I need to go. I've seem to lost my way.

Nothing new to report. Bella still won't eat. Bratty snake! Son is getting a turtle...joy.


Entries for SL are seriously lacking. *shrugs* I think a lot of people are getting out of the contests.

Miss Bella finally shed her skin today!

Now to see if she'll eat, damn it!

Ugh, my body went into 'I hate you' mode' so I've been hiding out for the most part. The medication I'm taking is making me gain weight, so I've been walking almost everynight with Gracie, hubby, and the demon spawns.

I feel pretty off kilter today...so the couch will be my best friend!

Miss Bella hasn't ate since we've gotten her. I'm a little worried...but the people I've talked with told me to wait her out. I think the snake will win this one. She seems to be acting normal, her eyes just a tad bit cloudy...so I'm hoping that she just needs to shed her skin and all will be well. Snakey and Lena stopped eating before shedding their skins, and ate like pigs afterwards.

Man, it must be pet hell week here!

Both garter snakes die on us....one was actually preventable. (Eldest demon spawn's fault)

Romeo has scratched his head almost raw. Stupid cat.

Gracie is gimped. Vet says she might have a sliver in her right back paw. It is inflammed and swollen! She has some lovely meds to take to treat that.

Hubby is now trying to feed Bella a pinkie mouse. I think he's more in love with the snake than I am.

Well some how today...Snakey died. My son was in tears for hours. He's never had to deal with a death of a pet before.

Hubby and I went out to the farm house, looking in vain for a damn new garter snake to put in with Lena. There wasn't a snake to be found....but I did hit 2 moles with the lawn mower though.
